MY JOURNEY IN MATHEMATICS

You might be curious about the man behind the brand. Well, I’m here to tell you about how a young boy’s curiosity for numbers bloomed into a lifelong dedication to mathematics. My academic path began like many others, with a fondness for puzzles and problem solving that eventually steered me toward the majestic world of math. I was fortunate enough to nurture this passion throughout my school years, especially when I received personalized guidance from a private tutor starting in Year 9.

The tutoring was a turning point for me, helping to unlock potential that I might not even have known I had. It instilled a deeper understanding and appreciation of math that carried me through my GCSE exams and right into Birkbeck University. Here, I didn’t just learn about mathematics; I lived it! At Birkbeck, I achieved a BSc Mathematics degree that stands as a testament to my commitment and fascination for the subject.

Post-graduation, my path wasn’t just about furthering my own knowledge but sharing it. That’s when I stepped into the world of tutoring. Just as I had once benefited from someone else’s expertise, I now found myself eager to offer that same support and knowledge to others. As a private tutor for primary and secondary school students, I learnt even more about the nuances of teaching and the various ways students understand mathematical concepts.
